Occupational Therapist

Taylah graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) in 2017 and has since worked in the private practice setting. Her main focus and passion have been in paediatrics, with a special interest in the areas of feeding, toileting, attachment and occupation-centered practice. She enjoys using a practical, task-focused approach that helps families spend less time stressing about their child learning skills and more time connecting and growing together.

She also works as a clinical educator at the Australian Catholic University (ACU) and enjoys supporting students in learning the ins and outs of paediatric practice. She supervises student-led clinics in the areas of 0-3-year-old development, general paediatrics, and multidisciplinary feeding (Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy). She is passionate about supporting students and new graduate therapists to understand the 'why' behind children's presentations and promoting an inclusive and strengths-based approach.
